Shiny paint
blue and brown
slick seat
lap bar down.
Wheels roll
metal clacks
sun shines
on the tracks.
Chain pulls
up the hill
anticipate
the coming thrill.
Growing nearer
to the top
see the view
then it stops.
Catch my breath
close my eyes
split second
then it flies.
Down down
moment of fright
then I laugh
it’s all right.
Curves, banks
side to side
